Account deletion
If you'd like to delete your Doccy account, please email our support team.
How to request deletion
Email support@doccy.com.au with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and we will process your request.
What happens to your data
When you delete your account:
- Your profile information is permanently removed
- Your login credentials are deleted
- Consultation history is anonymised
Data we must retain
Under Australian healthcare regulations, we are legally required to retain certain medical records for a minimum period:
- Adult records: 7 years from the date of last service
- Minor records: Until the patient turns 25, or 7 years from last service (whichever is longer)
These records are stored securely and are not linked to your personal account after deletion.
Processing time
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
