Surgical trainee turned health economist, who brings eight years of hospital medicine (UK & NZ) and market access experience in the pharma industry.
About
Anna is a surgical trainee turned health economist. She studied medicine at the University of Glasgow and graduated in 2016. She then worked in hospitals in the UK and New Zealand for eight years, including core surgical training in the NHS. Over time, she grew frustrated by how funding decisions limited the treatments her patients could get. That led her to health economics. She completed a masters at the University of Galway, then worked in market access in the pharmaceutical industry.
In 2026 she led Doccy's voice AI research project as an independent contractor. She now works with Doccy on research, medical writing and reviewing medical content. Outside work, Anna enjoys trail running, hiking and baking.
