What evidence can employers request?
Under Fair Work Act s.107, employers may request evidence that would satisfy a reasonable person - medical certificates or statutory declarations are typical. They can request this for any absence, even one day.
Will my employer accept this certificate?
Yes. Our certificates meet the Fair Work 'reasonable person' test. It's not reasonable for employers to contact your doctor for extra details without consent or reject certificates that cover earlier days if properly justified.
Are telehealth certificates valid?
Yes, when there's a real-time consultation (phone/video). Our doctors conduct proper clinical assessments. Form-only 'instant' certificates without consultation risk breaching professional standards.
What about workers' compensation?
