What Adelaide asks for

What the same evidence is for

An extension gives you more time on general coursework, assignments or non-time-bound tests. Up to three days can be requested without documentation. Three to 14 days needs supporting documentation, and you apply through MyLearning before the original due date.
A deferred exam application covers time-bound assessments that cannot simply be extended in MyLearning. Apply no later than 24 hours after the exam or assignment date. The evidence has to cover the day of the exam itself, so see a doctor promptly.
Where a condition runs longer than a single assessment, Adelaide uses the Health Assessment Form for Changing Study Arrangements to consider a leave of absence, a reduced study load or release from the programme. The practitioner is asked whether the impact exceeds 14 days and what treatment is planned.
