Special consideration applies where serious circumstances outside your control happened during an examination and may have affected your performance. An acute medical issue is the common example, alongside problems in the exam environment such as an evacuation or power failure.
Special provisions are adjustments to the conditions you sit the exam under rather than a change of date. Avondale asks for the application within 24 hours of the onset of the circumstances.
