A deferred assessment lets you sit a mid-semester or final exam, or another timed assessment, at a later date. Complete the Deferred Assessment Application Form through MyBond and attach the Bond University Student Medical Certificate. Lodge it with Student Assist before the exam starts or within two business days after the scheduled exam.
Special consideration applies when you attempted the assessment but illness affected your performance. The same Student Medical Certificate carries the evidence, and Section B's domain ratings are what the assessor reads to understand the impact on the day.
An extension moves the due date of coursework you can still complete. The certificate needs to show the dates you were unfit and the effect on your capacity to work on the task, not just that you attended an appointment.

See a doctor before the exam, or on the day. Bond's certificate is not to be backdated, so the consultation date is the one that counts.
Take the Bond University Student Medical Certificate to the consultation so the practitioner completes Bond's own sections rather than writing a generic certificate.
Have the practitioner complete Section A with the dates you were unfit to sit, and Section B with the impact on each domain.
Check the certificate carries the practitioner's stamp or full practice contact details and the consultation dates.
